While we love our four-legged friends, Clifton Day attracts thousands of visitors and can become very crowded throughout the day.

For the safety and comfort of your pets, festival attendees, vendors, and performers, please leave pets at home.

The Virginia Railway Express (VRE) offers a convenient way to travel to Clifton Day while avoiding traffic and parking concerns.

Be Prepared for the Weather

Clifton Day takes place rain or shine.

October weather can vary significantly throughout the day, so consider bringing:

• Sunscreen

• Sunglasses

• A reusable water bottle

• A light jacket or sweater

• An umbrella if rain is forecast
