Getting Here: Whether you're traveling from Northern VA, Washington, D.C., or beyond, Clifton Day is easy to reach by car or train. Clifton Day is the only day of the year the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) makes a special stop in historic Clifton, making it an easy and scenic way to get to the festival.
Road Closures: Please note that to keep our visitors, vendors, and volunteers safe, all roads through the town of Clifton are closed from 8:00AM - 6:00PM on Clifton Day.
Train Schedule & Tickets
Clifton Day is the one day of the year that VRE stops in Clifton. VRE provides special Clifton Day service from Manassas to Clifton and on to Rolling Road, with return service to Clifton and all stops in between.
The ride to Clifton Day is FREE. For the return trip, tickets are $7 for everyone age 3 and older. Children 2 and under ride free. Return tickets can be purchased at Clifton Day. See the full Clifton Day train schedule below.
